iPads Power And Picture Quality
iPads have boasted an amazing picture quality, thanks to the power of the Retina display. The iPad Air may have a smaller screen size but the resolution has remained the same. This makes an already stunning picture even more vibrant. Don't be fooled either, the 'smaller' display is still an impressive 9.7 inches, this is very impressive given the weight of the Air.
So, the picture quality is great but what about the power? How can such a tiny device compete with it's larger brethren? The answer lies in the A7 processor which gives every application a boost. Applications will perform almost twice as fast as before, how impressive is that? The processor also supports OpenGL ES V3.0 which allows this tiny tablet to perform on a level comparable to your desktop computer or even your gaming console. The cherry on top is the 64-bit architecture of the chip which will allow even the most advanced applications to perform with aplomb.
Of course, iPads are intended to be mobile. In recognition of this Apple has developed their M7 coprocessor. This chip will take on a task normally reserved for the primary processor. The data from the accelerometer, gyroscope and the compass are passed through the co-processor, this frees the primary CPU to continuously perform at it's peak.
You might think that such a powerful device would consume it's battery quickly, right? In some cases you would be right but not with the iPad Air. The A7 chip is so energy efficient that even with the massive performance boost, the Air boasts a spectacular 10 hour battery life.
The Air's camera has been vastly improved as well. By working with the A7 processor the impressive 5MP camera is even better. Every time you take a photo the A7 will make adjustments to improve the quality. This is all done in the background and you don't even need to think about it. Talk about convenience! The iPad Air is also capable of capturing stunning 1080p HD videos.
With such advanced technology the iPad Air is a truly exceptional addition to the Apple family. With so much power in such a tiny device it is the perfect gift this holiday season.
