Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Review from Phenix Genesis
Ok, I am going to start this off as nice as I can. this is a good call of duty, but that's not saying much as I doesn't really do much to change up it's formula, unless you consider jetpacks a change. ok so without further ado, let's get this review on the road.

Story: The story within it self wasn't actually bad at all just a couple of "small" things that got to me, explosions everywhere, every level felt like it was a set piece! On paper this wouldn't sound like a bad thing, but going through it over and over again makes it numbing. the characters really didn't have that much progression there wasn't any shocking moments in the story, literally zero twist or story drivers! I'll give the story this though, Kevin Spacey.5/10
Game-play: Now for this category i'm going to mix in the online multiplayer aspect of the game. Its call of duty, nothing new, with the exceptions of jet-packs. Call of duty has always had tight controls and that hasn't changed on this one, it's still the same old call of duty for yearly players to jump right in! So now within all of the things that's the same for the series for the online it doesn't subtract from the fun i did have when i got into a good lobby with a good connection. Speaking of connection how is it that this game on the Xbox one and ps4 still use p2p connection for it's online game-play instead of servers,its so laggy and it's definitely baffling but this game is definitely not in the next generation of gaming yet, at least it doesn't feel like it here.6/10
Graphics: In the story mode this is a definite plus im in awe, on the ps4 version of this game, at certain facial animations and set piece destruction. Once your done with the story mode though that's when that ends cause sadly on the online mode the graphics are not as good as the single player experience. 7/10
Sound: The game has your standard war inspired tunes that call of duty is known to have throughout, nothing special, but the weapons and ambience of the environments is down right beautiful this is the standout place in the game for me is how everything sounds together, shotguns are the most satisfying as the bass from the fire and sound of impact sounds glorious in the speaker system. 8/10
Overall: While this game is most definitely not the worst in the series, it's not the best, it seems that formula that will be used is the base same old call of duty engine with one or two things new added into the formula that will try to change the online aspect, seeing as that's the supposed main focus of call of duty.
This game gets a 6.5 out of 10!
